Retiring @Ryerson.ca Email Addresses

Due to recent changes related to the TorontoMU rebrand, coming on September 18th, all adobe applications via **the adobe website and **the Adobe Creative Cloud App will no longer allow you to log in with “[email protected]” and will instead require you to log into “[email protected]”. From early August until the 18th of September both accounts will be active to allow you to transfer files.

Does this affect you?

Logging In

Functionally the login process will remain the same, and your multi-factor authentication method should remain intact. If you want more information on that process you can go to the Creative School’s website for more information or go to our own guide on RTA Online if you’re having trouble with the login process.

Your Data

Logging in with the new “@torontomu.ca” Email address will functionally be the same as logging into a new account. This means if you use ANY of the following adobe services ALL data housed within these services will be lost if you don’t take action:

In order to allow you to back up these files, Both Accounts will be available until the 18th of September. After this point, these files will be lost PERMANENTLY.

If you need help backing up, exporting, or importing files into Adobe CC you can find information on how to to do that here → Link

As mentioned before, Logging in with your “@torontomu.ca” email address should be the same process as before, and your two factor authentication method should also carry over. If you have any other questions or problems throughout this process or want anything clarified Please reach out to [email protected] or your friendly neighborhood Production Training and Support Deputy.
