In this tutorial, we will be using After Effects (AE) to animate the Photoshop composition you made of Alice in Wonderland from Tutorial 2 and 3. Much like how we imported illustrator files into After Effects last week, we will be doing the same this week but with a Photoshop Document.

Open your Photoshop project from the end of Lab Class 3 (Tutorial 2).
If you can’t find your project from Tutorial 2, don't worry, as you can use the downloaded 'Alice in Wonderland.psd' from google drive ****after you have downloaded and unzipped it.
Refresh yourself with an After Effects interface overview here (Click Triangle to open)
Open up After Effects
Select New Project (See Fig 4)

At the top menu bar go to
Look for your own Alice in Wonderland Photoshop document
Before we import it, we must change how we import it by going to the dropdown option:
Click the Checkbox Create Composition
Now click Open
Double-click the imported composition of Alice in Wonderland from the Project Panel to open the composition

In the Timeline Panel, notice that the grouped folders from your Photoshop file are beige layers and all other layers are purple.
Your layers will import in the same order they were in Photoshop. (See Fig 6).
